If we examine closely what a lead is in regards to Internet business, we find a few mysteries that surround that person who actually took the time and made the effort to fill out a contact form for more information. It has been my experience in the work at home industry for years, that its difficult, if almost impossible to get people to fill out a form of any kind. I personally find it hard for people that I know and work with to fill out a contact form, much less someone who has found my high ranking sites on Google, to do so.

You must ask yourself a question why is this? That lead who has found your business on the Internet has filled out that form for several reasons. Either they find your business opportunity appealing, or they are going to pull the old cross recruiting gimmick on you, and try to get you into their own business.

There could be another reason that the lead filled out your form as well. As you may be aware, people steal content on Google like its going out of style. They steal others content, either through RSS feeds, or by signing up into newsletters, and capturing their information, spinning that info a little, and putting it back out live on Google. Content stealing is not harmful in itself, but it further shows that few know how to write content for search engine optimization purposes, and are probably just too lazy to sit and write the content themselves.

So, that lead, for whatever reason, has filled out your form, and is expecting a few things to happen.

1. They will get an autoresponder message back into their inbox. Now, this is fine IF the autoresponder letter contains good sound information. If its just another get rich quick hype letter, which most are by the way, then the person will simply opt out of the letter series, or they will report you to SpamCop or other blacklisting services on the net.

2. They will be expecting a phone call from yet another telemarketer. Have you noticed how hard that it really is to get people to answer their phones in today's world? Why is that? Well, the answer is relatively simple. These idiots like IBUZZPRO users, you know, the automated phone dialers, have literally taken over anyone's phone, including mine, and preached how you can earn $6000 per day by using their exclusive auto dialing system. Dare I say, that YOU JUST CAN'T FIX STUPID! Oh yeah, these jokers are making it incredibly difficult to even have a phone these days, much less to accept calls from legitimate business owners like myself. Personally, I take offense at the FCC allowing these people to keep making these unwanted, and illegal calls, but hey, its just my personal thoughts on the matter.

So generating leads for your business is only a small fraction of the piece of building a business using the power of Google. There has to be people that are dedicated to preserving the decency and legitimacy of working from home, or we will all surely be hard pressed to build any type of business that does generate wealth.

Any AutoResponder service can claim a high deliverability rating (and some do) but proving it is usually a different matter, altogether. The unfortunate reality is that there appears to be a lot of misinformation about deliverability and many email marketers often find out too late that their chosen AutoResponder service isn't quite as reliable about getting their message delivered as they may have been told.

(Overall score given by Return Path for email senders).

2. Accepted Rate

(How much email is actually getting through).

3. Complaints

(A higher score means fewer complaints).

4. Unknown Users

(A higher score indicates responsible data management)
